The proportion of participants who visited the thirteen website pages ranged from 0·6 % to 75 %. Half (Group 2 = 53 %, Group 3 = 52 %) of participants who completed the process evaluation (Group 2, n 111; Group 3, n 90) were satisfied with the programme. Conclusion: Recruiting and retaining young adults in web-based dietary interventions are challenging. Future research should consider ways to optimise these interventions, including co-design methods.]]> Wed 30 Aug 2023 10:06:52 AEST ]]> Primary care doctor and nurse utilisation rates for billed consultations across the Comprehensive Care Primary Health Organisation https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:42062 Wed 17 Aug 2022 15:08:23 AEST ]]> Evaluation of a type 2 diabetes risk reduction online program for women with recent gestational diabetes: a randomised trial https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:45429 Wed 13 Mar 2024 15:49:55 AEDT ]]> Lower Vegetable Variety and Worsening Diet Quality Over Time Are Associated With Higher 15-Year Health Care Claims and Costs Among Australian Women https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:49321 Wed 13 Mar 2024 08:52:20 AEDT ]]> New Zealand physiotherapists’ and general practitioners’ treatment knowledge and referral decisions for knee osteoarthritis: A vignette-based study https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:53701 Wed 10 Jan 2024 10:48:31 AEDT ]]> L-carnitine supplementation for muscle weakness and fatigue in children with neurofibromatosis type 1: A Phase 2a clinical trial https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:55114 Wed 10 Apr 2024 15:52:22 AEST ]]> The lived experiences of Ngä Täne Mäori with hip and knee osteoarthritis https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:45615 Wed 02 Nov 2022 14:28:08 AEDT ]]> 12-Month progression of motor and functional outcomes in congenital myotonic dystrophy https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:48666 85% of eligible participants. The only significant difference between mean baseline and 12-mo performance was an improvement in 6MWT in children 3-6 y old (P = .008). This age group also had the largest mean % improvement in performance in all other timed functional testing. In children >7 y, the slope of change on timed functional tests decreased or plateaued, with further reductions in performance in children ≥10 y. Participants with CTG repeat lengths <500 did not perform differently than those with repeat lengths >1000. Conclusions The 6MWT, 10 Meter Run, and 4 Stair Climb were the most feasible measures. Our findings are consistent with the clinical profile and prior cross-sectional data, helping to establish reasonable expectations of functional trajectories in this population as well as identifying points in which therapeutic interventions may be best studied. Further study of outcomes in children >10 y old and <3 y is warranted, but this new information will assist planning of clinical trials in the CDM population.]]> Tue 28 Mar 2023 10:11:21 AEDT ]]> Increasing fruit and vegetable variety over time is associated with lower 15-year healthcare costs: Results from the Australian longitudinal study on women’s health https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:44293 Tue 11 Oct 2022 15:51:37 AEDT ]]> The feasibility and preliminary efficacy of an ehealth lifestyle program in women with recent gestational diabetes mellitus: a pilot study https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:38413 Tue 07 Sep 2021 16:15:37 AEST ]]> Eating behaviors and diet quality: a national survey of Australian young adults https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:51339 Thu 30 May 2024 10:58:39 AEST ]]> An evidence-informed model of care for people with lower limb osteoarthritis in New Zealand https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:38892 Thu 28 Apr 2022 09:34:53 AEST ]]> Joint hypermobility and its association with self-reported knee health: A cross-sectional study of healthy Australian adults https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:53389 −.30; P =.04). Prevalence of GJH was higher in non-Caucasians (17.4% vs 5.6%, P <.001) and females (4.4% vs 1.1%, P =.007). Prevalence of KSH between ethnic and gender groups was not significantly different (P =.50 and P =.69 respectively). Non-Caucasians scored higher (better) in all KOOS domains than Caucasians (all P <.05). Conclusion: Those who met the age- and gender-specific criteria for GJH/KSH did not report worse knee health than their non-hypermobile counterparts. Two thirds of respondents had accessed best practice guidelines, but only 12% had completely read best practice guidelines. General healthy eating was the most frequent dietary approach used (77%). Seventy-five percent (n = 56) of dietitians reported that dietary interventions were selected based on client preference. Almost half of dietitians rated their knowledge and level of skill in management of obesity as good. Approximately 60% (n = 41) dietitians reported their skill gap was related to providing behavioural therapy/counselling. Results of the current survey indicate that use of best practice guidelines is low. However, dietitians surveyed reported that they had a good understanding of obesity management and choose a client centred approach to management, which is in line with current recommendations. Professional development activities, particularly regarding behavioural counselling are of particular interest to dietitians working with individuals with obesity.]]> Fri 17 Nov 2023 11:46:36 AEDT ]]> Association Between Body Mass Index and Disability in Children With Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:53205 Fri 17 Nov 2023 11:34:38 AEDT ]]>
